Mr. Anand Chatterjee

Mr. Chatterjee’s passion for hospitality started at a young age when he joined TGI Fridays as a barman to start the first TGIF of India in New Delhi. He then went on to join as a Management Trainee with ITC Hotels in Welcomgroup Management Institute. After finishing the Management Training Programme, he moved to open the newest Sheraton in Bombay – ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton and then ITC Sonar Bangla Sheraton. Later worked also with ITC Kakatiya Sheraton and ITC Park Sheraton.

In 2004, he joined Oberoi Hotels and worked with various luxury hotels like The Oberoi Udaivilas, The Oberoi Rajvilas, The Wildflower Hall and business hotels like Trident Chennai, Trident Bandra-Kurla.

In 2014 he moved on to Viking Hospitality to open Planet Hollywood Beach Resort, Goa the first hotel in Asia. Presently in-charge of building 3 Planet Hollywood Hotels in Delhi, Bombay and Jaipur and King’s Mansion a wellness destination in Goa. Apart from hotels, he is an avid aviation-ist and a geopolitical speaker.
