Bio

CMA (Ms) Shameem Memon, Assistant Professor in Financial Accounting, holds Masters in Commerce. Her Specialisation is Accounting and Taxation. She has cleared NET and SET. She also holds membership of Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
She has been teaching for 16 years at different colleges in Maharashtra and Goa like M. S. Naik College, Ratnagiri, Gogate Jogalekar College, Ratnagiri, Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao at Graduate and Post Graduate Level.
She has attended various seminars and conferences and presented 12 research papers at National and International Seminars. She has published 11 research papers in journals including UGC approved journal/conference proceedings and Peer Reviewed Journals. She has also experience of guiding students for research projects at Graduate and Post Graduate level. She has successfully submitted a minor research project titled ‘Health Tourism in Goa; Challenges and Opportunities’ funded and allocated by the research cell of the college. Currently she is pursuing Ph. D. from University of Mumbai.
