Ms. Nivedita Bagchi holds a Master in International Tourism and Hospitality
Management from EADA Business School, Barcelona-Spain, Post Graduate
Certificate in International Hospitality Management from Auckland University of
Technology, Auckland-New Zealand and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and
Hotel Administration from IHM-Mumbai.
She commenced her career by working with the renowned Travel agent brand –
Thomas Cook India at their HO in Mumbai in the year 2014 and then went onto
working for various global hospitality brands such as Four Seasons, ITC, Marriott
& Sofitel through diverse roles in Food & Beverage department during a period
of 5 years.
She took a break in between from the hospitality industry and started teaching
Yoga in countries like India, Cambodia & Thailand since 2020 and went on to live
in 5 different countries to further elevate and grow through studies and work in
New Zealand, Cambodia, Spain, France & Thailand. With all these experiences,
Ms. Nivedita now holds a B1 in French Language certified by DELF from Alliance
Francais-Mumbai, a 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Certificate from
Dharamshala, has studied Bharatanatyam, for 10 years along with learning
Carnatic Classical music for 4 years.
Bringing along with her all these various experiences, Ms. Nivedita
recommenced her hospitality journey by taking up her first teaching position
at VMSIIHE, by assisting in F&B Service, overlooks the breakfast & lunch service
in the cafeteria and conducts extra-curricular activities like Yoga, conversational
French & Bharatnatyam for everyone at the Institute.
