VMSIIHE has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with César Ritz Colleges Switzerland. This allows students who have completed the Bachelor’s program to progress towards higher studies in Master of Arts Hospitality & Tourism Entrepreneurship, a Master of Arts in Culinary Business Management & a Swiss Grand Diploma in Pastry and Chocolate Arts.
V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education has tied up with Turismo de Portugal for a “Collaborative International Training and Education Programme”. This is a four-week specialised programme focusing on training students and mentoring teachers after which, participating students and teachers receive a certificate of training.
V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), has partnered with Martinhal Family Hotels and Resorts a Portugal based hospitality brand, to provide internship opportunities to students of the institute.
The protocol aims to provide and increase the interaction between hotel industry experts and the institute. Having four luxurious properties, two each in Algarve and Lisbon, the institute has signed an agreement with the group which is mutually beneficial. The students are provided with accommodation, meals, laundry facilities, and on-the-job training along with a stipend.
This international exposure gives students a better understanding about global work culture. They get a chance to bring in new ideas, positive energy, freshness in the team they work with, and chances of enhancing their professional career.
