The National Anti-Ragging Programme is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aimed at preventing ragging and promoting a safe, inclusive, and student-friendly campus environment. In strict compliance with UGC Anti-Ragging Regulations, the institute follows a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging and has put in place all prescribed preventive and monitoring measures, including awareness programmes, submission of student undertakings, and the functioning of Anti-Ragging Committees and Squads.
Students are encouraged to report any incident through the National Anti-Ragging Helpline (1800-599-0019) or the designated online portal https://www.antiragging.in/ . These measures reflect the institute’s commitment to student safety, well-being, and support services, in alignment with NAAC Criterion V and its emphasis on a secure and supportive learning environment.
