EDC Workshop held at Carmel College
Two faculty accompanied by five T.Y. students from VMSIIHE attended a one day state-level entrepreneurship development workshop on the topic “Be your boss, build your brand: employ, enthuse, & export” held on Tuesday, 18 February 2020 at Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem.
The first Technical Session was on “Creating a Business & a Brand – the Inside Story” and the talk was given by Mr. Blaise Costabir – Managing Director, GMI Zarhak Moulders Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Costabir, by example of a baking industry, elaborated on the pros of being an entrepreneur while emphasizing on the qualitative aspects needed to build an entrepreneurial brand and also shared his life experiences on why those concepts were so important to him and to other entrepreneurs as well.
