AVRIL SULE has earned a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers from The University of Cambridge, holds a Degree in English from IGNOU and a Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from the premier Institute of Hotel Management – Mumbai, as well as a designation of Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute (AHLEI).

With three decades of teaching at IHM Mumbai, affiliation with various organizations and writing articles for leading hospitality journals, her training programmes have taken her to audiences in diverse places like Dubai, Srilanka and the Maldives. A brief stint in the Hotel Industry at the start of her career and revisiting the industry intermittently as well as her travel in India and other parts of the world has given her a global outlook of the Hospitality Industry. Although her forte is Housekeeping, she has established herself in training Hospitality Educators and Trainers.

At the International Housekeeper’s Summit 2016 she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for training in the Hospitality Sector. She was invited to be the Chief Judge for the National Room Stylist Competition at the Colombo Hotel Show 2019 and also conducted a Masterclass – ‘Beyond Cleaning’ for the Senior Housekeepers in Sri Lanka. A vibrant speaker and innovative trainer she strongly believes that training should be predictably unpredictable!
