Dr. Semele Sardesai is a well-known name in the field of General Management education throughout Goa. A Doctor of Philosophy in Management from Goa University, she is proud to have been born and brought up in the picturesque state of Goa, India.
Having completed her bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Goa College of Engineering. She completed her post-graduation in Management from Goa University. She had a brief stint with Industry having worked as a Management Executive for over five years at IFB Industries Limited, Goa. Out of sheer love for teaching she made a transition to the teaching profession in 2001. She has successfully cleared the UGC’s National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship in Management.

Dr. Semele Sardesai was the Coordinator for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program at MES’s Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce in Zuarinagar, Goa (2014 -2023). Her dedicated service in teaching profession was recognized by Lions Club of Murmugoa who felicitating her as an outstanding teacher in 2018.
Her teaching expertise includes subjects like Business Research Methods, Marketing Research and Event Management, along with other management subjects. She has been invited by the Goa Business School at Goa University and other professional colleges from all over India to share her expertise with students in the field of Marketing Research, Research Methods and Dissertation. She also provides assistance to students pursuing their Ph.D.

Dr. Semele Sardesai has conducted numerous Faculty Development Programs on research methodology across various colleges. She has presented 14 research papers at State level, National level, and International Conferences and Seminars. Her research papers are published in UGC recognized and peer-reviewed research journals.

Her research paper titled “Sustainable Strategic Entrepreneurship: A Case on the journey of an Entrepreneur” won 2nd prize out of 88 papers presented at a two-day International Conference in June 2023 organised by FORE school of Management, New Delhi.

She has authored a book titled “Influence of Events on the Quality of Life of Residents – A Case Study of Goa, India”.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Dr. Semele Sardesai has a deep interest in meditation. Since 2009, she has been practicing ‘Sahajayoga’ meditation, a form that emphasizes awakening the spiritual energy within oneself.
