Internships & Career Opportunities

Internships form an integral part of the academic curriculum at VMSIIHE and serve as a bridge between classroom learning and industry practice. Students undertake internships in reputed hotels and hospitality establishments in India and abroad, including destinations such as Portugal, Switzerland, and the Middle East, particularly Dubai, where they gain hands-on experience across key operational departments. Many students successfully convert their internship opportunities into pre-placement offers based on their performance.
In addition to internships, students at VMSIIHE actively participate in Outdoor Catering (ODC) assignments at reputed hotel groups such as IHCL, Marriott, Novotel as well as fine-dining restaurants and premium hospitality venues. These assignments provide students with real-time exposure to professional hospitality operations and offer valuable opportunities to learn and engage directly with core operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, and the Kitchen, thereby enhancing their practical skills and holistic understanding of hotel operations.
