Chef Shruti Deva is a seasoned Bakery and pastry Chef and Educator whose career spans luxury hotels, culinary education and entrepreneurship.
She began her journey with a craft course in Bakery and Confectionery from Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai followed by a 3 year Diploma in Culinary Arts from The Academy of Culinary Education, Cidade de Goa .She also earned a Food Production Principles Certification with Honors from the Educational Institute of The American Hotel and Motel Association (EI-AH&MA) and enhanced her global perspective through a Swiss Culinary workshop.
Her professional experience includes working with leading five star properties such as The Leela, Mumbai, The Leela Goa and The Park Hyatt Resort and Spa Goa where she held pivotal positions as Chef de Partie and Kitchen Executive.
After a hiatus, she returned to academia, first joining Father Agnel Institute of Culinary Sciences and later IIHM, Goa where she served as faculty for Bakery and Pastry. In 2020, she ventured into entrepreneurship with her own Bakery and Café, Wildflour , which she ran successfully for five years. She continues to inspire through her commitment to excellence, craftsmanship and the evolving art of Bakery and Pastry.
